Questions

Will it open files from my current CAD system?

Through STEP AP214. Assemblies keep their structure. Native files of other systems do not open.

Coming from SolidWorks?

CommandManager tabs, design tree, PropertyManager pages, the confirmation corner, and the same mouse and keyboard defaults. STEP imports as geometry, without feature history.

Is it ready for production use?

SpryCAD is pre-1.0 and changes quickly. Files keep every saved revision, and autosave recovers work after a crash. Test it on your own parts.

What is not there yet?

Surface modeling, variable-radius fillets, and corner blends where three fillets meet.
